Next version

It's been over a year since I last posted something on this blog and I haven't had the time to work on NeuroPub either during this time. I did submit an abstract for OHBM2011 but I didn't get the opportunity to go. I've also been on parental leave for the last six months (which was really a great time). But the plan has always been to continue the development and version 1.1 will hopefully be released really soon. It will have the following three features:

1. Support for compressed NIfTI (nii.gz).
2. You should be able to open NiFTI files from another app (like Mail or Dropbox) and load them into NeuroPub.
3. The current version forces the orientation of the images to be in Left-to-Right format. I will try to implement so it does not really matter. I hope this feature will be added to v1.1.
